In order to chat internally, you will need to use Superpunch Chat, unless your Supervisor has advised otherwise.
Automated Channels are created automatically for each partner in Superpunch Chat, these channels include:
- Whole Program - this is a channel with everyone on the program, at all sites. The name will match the name of the Program or Client in Superpunch.
- Line of business - a channel is created for each Line of Business in a Program. The names of these channels will be Program name - Line of Business name.
- Team Room - each Supervisor will have a channel created that includes the people who report to them in Superpunch. These will be named Firstname Lastname's Team eg. Michael Scott's Team.
- Direct Messages - each User will have a DM created with their Supervisor.
If you have more than one job in Superpunch, you will be included in all channels for each job.
To change a Channel Name, follow these steps:
- Log into Superpunch Chat.
- Select the Information icon to access the chat "Details".
- Select Edit.
- Type the new name in the underlined area right above the edit button .
- Select the Check Mark to the right of the new Chat Name to save your changes.

To Add or Remove a User, follow these steps:
- Log into Superpunch Chat.
- Select the Information icon to access the chat "Details".
- Select +Add member and search for the user you wish to add to the chat.
- Or, hover over a specific user and select the X to remove them from the chat.
If you remove someone who's in a room because of their job, they will automatically be re-added. To properly remove them, their job in their Superpunch profile must be changed.
