As a "Supervisor" with the "Schedule Adjuster" role, you are able to create and edit a shift/schedule in Superpunch for a member of your team.
To create a shift/schedule, follow these steps:
- Log into Superpunch.
- Navigate to: My Team -> Schedule.
- Select either the Week or Month view (you cannot create a new shift/schedule in the day view).
- Ensure you have the correct Time Zone selected.
- Hover over the timeline and click the Add
button to create a new shift/schedule.
- Select Create from Scratch or select an existing shift to Edit.
- In the "Assign" window that opens select the Shift option.
- Select the Date (for repeating schedules, this is the day the schedule will begin).
- Select a Start Time and End time.
- Add any required Break and Lunches.
- To add additional breaks and lunches over the course of the shift select the Add
button or select the Delete
button to delete a break or lunch.
- Select the Repeat pattern for this shift.
- Select User(s) to assign the shift/schedule to or click Select All to select all persons listed.
- Enter text in the "Notes" field.
- Select Save as a new Template (if needed).
- Select Create Shift or Create and Publish Shift.
Notes:
- Selecting Create Shift puts the changes into a pending state where the employee will not see the change. (Handy for when you will be doing multiple edits.)
- Selecting Create & Publish Shift makes the changes live immediately.
- Log into Superpunch.
- Navigate to: My Team -> Schedule.
- Select either the Week or Month view.
- Ensure you have the correct Time Zone selected.
- Hover over the timeline and click the Add
button to create a new shift/schedule.
- Select Create from Scratch or select an existing shift to Edit.
- In the "Assign" window that opens select the Event option.
- Select Time-off Type.
- Select All Day or Partial Day (if selecting Partial Day, select the Start Time and End Time).
- Select the Start Date and End Date.
- Select User(s) to assign the Event to or click Select All to select all persons listed.
- Enter text in the "Notes" field.
- Select Create Event.
